In Phillipsburg, New Jersey there’s a 10-year old boy whose hard work is paying off. He’s playing trumpet in the school band – even though he doesn’t have any arms.
WFMZ-TV recently reported on fifth grader Jahmir Wallace and his performance at Green Street Elementary.
Wallace’s story is inspiring. Even though he was born without arms, his belief in himself and his determined attitude shine when he plays the trumpet with his feet.
“Anybody out there that would like to try an instrument, go ahead and try it," Wallace says. "You never know, if you like it, you like it, if you don’t, you don’t. Keep on trying.”
